In order to write my essay on this, I did a research that what are the reason to get a scholarship. Scholarship is a financial aid or monetary help to the students for education. There are various reasons or basis on which you can get a scholarship. 1. Based on the student’s academic, artistic, athletic or other abilities. This types of merit based scholarship is provided by private organizations or directly by a student’s intended college. 2. The other way to get scholarship is depending on the need of the student. If the financial condition of the students family is not good, he can provide his family’s annual income certificate and get this help. 3. Minority scholarships is provided based on gender, race, religion, family and medical history. 4. Scholarship is given to students pursuing careers in high-need areas such as education or nursing. Nursing students are in high demand, and many schools will give future nurses full scholarships to enter the field.
Scholarship helps the students coming from a low income family or even to students whose parents do not support for education to peruse their education. Most important point about this is that the money doesn’t have to be paid back. Scholarships are not easy to get, and this is why they are so valuable.
